LEAD BY: Jinduri, Paul S.;

If you have ever wanted to step up to the dual ended death that is a staff, but were intimidated by perceived complexity or size, then this is the class for you. Jinduri will be covering the mechanics required to utilize a staff without getting in the way of the painful parts. In case you were wondering, every part is a painful part. Do not think otherwise. As with most everything else we cover in this group the focus will be on control. Unlike most of our material however, a staff does require some degree of speed to really work. Attention to the subject matter, your actions, and your surroundings will be of the utmost importance.

Normal/regular staffs will be used for this class, so please leave your 7 foot saber staffs at home. We will bring a few extra staffs, but we obviously cannot bring one for everyone. If you have a staff, or stave, in the 4 – 6 foot range then bring it in. If you do not, then unscrew your broom’s handle or buy a long wood dowel.

Attendance implies participation, participation implies respect.
